Former world number 50 Richardas Berankis (Lithuania, ATP 234) He posted a photo from the hospital on his Instagram account.
The tennis player said he had surgery on his shoulder:
“Hello everybody!
I haven’t been active on social media lately and I had my reasons for that… But as you can see, I look and feel great 😎 I had shoulder surgery a few hours ago.
I have been living with great discomfort and taking painkillers since January. It wasn’t easy to take this step, but I 100% believe that my biggest wish to get well soon will yield positive results 💪🏽
See you on the tennis court soon 🎾 Be healthy!” wrote Richardas.
Richardas won 28 bouts and lost 22 fights in 2023. This season Berankis took the Challenger trophy in Saint-Brieuc.
