Tsurenko and Volodko made a successful start in qualifying for the WTA 500 tournament in China

Ukrainian tennis players Lesya Tsurenko (WTA 49) and Katerina Volodko (WTA 267) made a successful start in qualifying for the challenging WTA 500 series tournament in Zhengzhou (China).

Lesya was defeated in the first round of the election Ulrikke Eikeri (Norway, WTA 656) In 1 hour 8 minutes. This was the tennis players’ second match and the score was tied.
