Russian tennis player Lyudmila Samsonova failed to win the WTA 1000 tournament in Beijing.
In the final match, Samsonova was defeated by Poland’s Iga Szwiatek with a score of 2:6, 2:6. The meeting lasted a little over an hour.
The world number two won her 16th WTA singles title. Samsonova has four victories left in tournaments under the auspices of the organization.
