Quarter-final matches were held in the challenging WTA 250 series tournament held in Seoul (South Korea) on October 13.

First seed Jessica Pegula defeated compatriot Claire Liu in three sets. Next, Jesse will play against Yanina Wickmayer, who eliminated Polina Kudermetova in the quarterfinals.

4th seed Maria Bouzkova unexpectedly lost to Yuan Yue. She will face Chinese woman Emina Bektaş in the semi-finals. The American defeated Kimberly Birrell in the 3rd round.
