Kalinina suffered a devastating defeat on the 24th racket at the WTA 500 tournament in Zhengzhou
Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina (WTA 28) completed their performance in the challenging WTA 500 series tournament held in Zhengzhou (China).
In the quarter-finals, the Ukrainian athlete lost to the world’s 24th racket, Zheng Qingwen from China, in two sets in 1 hour and 27 minutes.

During the match, Angelina had only 1 break. The Ukrainian player took the opening game of the first set on the reception and then lost 4 games in a row.
This was the third meeting between the tennis players. Kalinina lost for the first time.
Note that in the 1st round of the main draw, Zheng beat another Ukrainian tennis player, Katerina Volodko.
