Ukrainian tennis player Katarina Zavatskaya (WTA 169) made a successful start to the WTA 250 series hard court tournament in Monastir (Tunisia).
The Ukrainian team was defeated in the 1st round of the qualifiers Despino Papamihail (Greece, WTA 207) In 2 hours 45 minutes.

Zavatskaya lost the 1st set and 1st service game in the 2nd game, but managed to get back into the game.
