Honored tennis coach of Russia Viktor Yanchuk said that he considers it logical for Andrei Rublev to reach the final of the Masters in Shanghai.
On Saturday, Rublev defeated Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov and reached the final of the tournament in China, where he will play against Pole Hubert Hurkacz.
– This is a classic option when life experience meets youth, because Dimitrov is 32, and Rublev is 25. Andrei won naturally. Yes, there were a lot of unnecessary mistakes, but nevertheless he won the tiebreaker. Rublev became more attentive, controlled the ball – this bore fruit. And cut ones are fertile ground for Rublev’s attacking strikes,” Yanchuk is quoted as saying by “Championship.”
Rublev and Hurkach had four meetings with each other and won two victories each.
