The 1993 Roland Garros mixed doubles winner Andrei Olkhovsky said that there is no clear favorite in the Masters final match in Shanghai between Russian Andrei Rublev and Pole Hubert Hurkacz.

On Saturday, Rublev reached the final of the tournament in China, beating Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov with a score of 7:6 (9:7), 6:3.

— I congratulate Andrey on reaching the finals. It was a good match, a grueling first set. It was difficult from a psychological and gaming point of view. The quality of the game was very high, Rublev coped with it. In the first set there were some mistakes, there was nervousness, but overall Andrey played well.

Final with Hurkac? I don’t see a favorite in this pair. The Pole can play at a very high level. Despite the fact that Rublev is higher in the ranking, I consider Hurkacz a very dangerous opponent. Therefore, there is no clear favorite here,” RB Sport quotes Olkhovsky as saying.

The final of the Masters series tournament in Shanghai will be held on Sunday, October 15, the start of the meeting is scheduled for 11:30 Moscow time.
