Russian tennis player Valeria Savinykh reached the second round of the tournament in Nanchang (China).
Savinykh, ranked 146th in the world ranking, at the start of the tournament beat the 23rd racket of the world, Poland’s Magda Linette, with a score of 7:5, 3:6, 7:6 (7:3). The meeting lasted just over three hours.
In the next round, Savinykh will play with the winner of the match Victoria Grunchakova (Slovakia) – Alexandra Sasnovich (Belarus).
