ATP officially moves the tournament from Tel Aviv to Sofia
The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) has officially notified that the ATP 250 tournament, scheduled to be held in Tel Aviv between 5-11 November, has been postponed.
The tournament will be hosted by Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The prize fund, which will take place on the same dates, will be 562 thousand dollars.
“We are pleased to host the ATP tournament once again in the historical city of Sofia. It goes without saying that we wish the circumstances were different and our thoughts remain with everyone affected by this terrible conflict. We express our gratitude to ATP, the Bulgarian government, the municipality and our team. “We look forward to working with the ATP to ensure a successful event for Bulgaria’s players and great fans,” said Stefana Tsvetkova, President of the Bulgarian Tennis Federation.
