Roger FEDERER: “It is difficult for me to watch all the matches because I do not have time”
Former ATP world rankings leader Roger Federer He talked about how he followed tennis after retirement.
“I follow the results almost every day. I like to see what’s out there. Mostly – clips of the best moments. To get some idea of the match, I’ll go on YouTube and watch four or five minute clips. It’s hard for me to watch all the matches because I don’t have time. It’s hard to say that I will watch this match that day with kids and all.
Take the Wimbledon final, of which I only watched a few matches because I was playing with the kids and doing housework. At one point I looked up to say I had watched part of the Wimbledon final. Of course it was interesting. I followed the score from time to time, but it is very difficult for me to sit and watch. I’m glad the match turned out great and I love how the game offers great stories,” Federer said.
Remember, in the Wimbledon 2023 final, Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz won the second major championship of his career by beating Serbian Novak Djokovic.
