Boris Becker confirms Holger Rune as new coach
Six-time Grand Slam champion Boris Becker has confirmed world number six Holger Rune as his new coach.
“Holger is a diamond that needs to be polished. I enjoy his emotional outbursts. I had already coached a player, Novak Djokovic, who sometimes could not come to his senses on the court. But this can be allowed… Holger is one of the best young players in the world. My goal is to find the best version of the Holger Rune,” Becker told Eurosport.
Let us also note that Boris Becker was put on the early release program in December last year. He had served eight months of a two-and-a-half-year sentence in a UK prison for insolvency fraud.
