The Tsitsipas brothers reach the doubles final in Antwerp and win their first title
Stefanos and Petros Tsitsipas won 2-1 against Arneondo and Weisborn and qualified for the doubles final at the tournament in Antwerp. They will win their first title.
A few hours after his defeat against Phil, Stefanos Tsitsipas took the court again. Together with his brother Petros they competed in the doubles semi-finals of the Antwerp tournament.
The Tsitsipas brothers met the duo of Monegasque Romain Arneudo and the Austrian Sam Weissborn. Stefanos and Petros won 2:1 sets.
In fact, they pulled off an upset as they lost the first set 6-4, won the second set 7-6, which lasted 50 minutes, and won the third set 13-11.
This means they will win their first trophy as a duo for the first time on Sunday (October 22nd, 3:00 p.m.) against Bear and Pavlacek.
