Lyudmila Samsonova became the first racket of Russia

Russian tennis player Lyudmila Samsonova rose from 17th to 15th place in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings and became the first racket of Russia.
Samsonova rose two places in the WTA rankings, while former Russian number one Daria Kasatkina dropped six places, from 11th to 17th. In the top 20 of the ranking, another Russian woman, Veronika Kudermetova, rose from 18th place to 16th.
Arina Sabalenko from Belarus is still in first place in the ranking. Iga Szwiatek from Poland is second, American Coco Gauff is third.
