Kudermetova reached the WTA Elite Trophy final in doubles

Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova, paired with Brazilian Beatriz Haddad-Maya, made it to the finals of the WTA Elite Trophy tournament in China.
In the group stage match, Kudermetova and Haddad-Maya beat another Russian, Yana Sizikova, playing together with Oksana Kalashnikova from Georgia, in two sets – 6:0, 6:3. The match lasted exactly one hour.
The victory was the second for Kudermetova/Haddad-Maya in the tournament, which ahead of schedule secured them first place in the group and a ticket to the finals. Their opponents in the main match of the tournament will be determined later.
