With Medvedev, Tsitsipas is in the semi-finals of the tournament in Vienna
On Saturday (October 28th) Stefanos Tsitsipas will meet number 3 in the world rankings, Daniil Medvedev, in the semi-finals of the 500-man tournament in Vienna.
Stefanos Tsitsipas won 2-0 sets (7:6, 7:5) against Goyo and moved into the semi-finals of the Vienna 500 tournament. The leading Greek tennis player already knows his opponent four times.
Specifically, Tsitsipas will meet Daniil Medvedev (No. 3 in the world rankings) on Saturday (October 28th) with a view to qualifying for the final. The Russian tennis player overcame Khachanov’s hurdle on Friday (October 27).
The two athletes met twelve times, Medvenev won eight times and Stefanos the remaining four. Their last meeting was at the 1000 tournament in Rome this year, where the Russians won 2-0.
