Kasatkina lost to Brazilian Haddad-Maya in the semi-finals of the WTA Elite Trophy tennis tournament in Zhuhai

Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina was defeated by Brazilian representative Beatrice Haddad-Maia in the semi-final match of the WTA Elite Trophy tournament in Zhuhai, China.
The meeting ended with a score of 6:4, 6:1 in favor of the Brazilian, who received the eighth seed. The tennis players spent 1 hour and 34 minutes on the court.
In the final, Haddad-Maya will meet the winner of the semi-final between Chinese women Zhu Lin and Zheng Qingwen.
The WTA Elite Trophy involves the 12 best tennis players who did not qualify for the WTA Finals. Kasatkina ranks 17th in the organization’s ranking.
