The first finalist of the WTA 2023 Small Finals has been announced
The first semi-final match of the small final tournament took place in Zhuhai.
Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia defeated Daria Kasatkina in two sets.

Beatriz Haddad Maya (Brazil) – Daria Kasatkina – 6:4, 6:1
Haddad Maya will compete with the winner of the match between Chinese women Zhu Lin and Zheng Qingwen in the final. The championship match will be played on Sunday.
The Brazilian tennis player will also play in the doubles final in Zhuhai together with Veronika Kudermetova.
Note that Kasatkina finished the year without winning any tournaments.
