Khachanov and Safiullin reached the second round of the Masters in Paris

Russian tennis players Karen Khachanov and Roman Safiullin made it to the second round of the Masters tournament in Paris.
At the start of the tournament, Khachanov, ranked 15th in the ATP rankings, defeated Australian representative Max Purcell. The meeting ended in two sets with a score of 6:4, 6:4 and lasted 1 hour 24 minutes.
Khachanov’s next opponent will be the winner of the confrontation between Laszlo Liere (Serbia) and Luca Van Esch (France).
The 45th racket of the world, Safiullin, beat the Frenchman Alexandre Muller in the first round with a score of 7:6 (7:4), 6:3. The athletes spent 1 hour 35 minutes on the court.
In the second round, Safiullin will play against the second racket of the world, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
The tournament in Paris will end on November 5.
