Arina SOBOLENKO: “I feel that WTA disrespected me”
WTA world ranking leader Aryna Sabalenka complained about the level of organization of the WTA Final Tournament 2023.
“I must say that I am very disappointed in the WTA and the Final Tournament. As a tennis player, I feel disrespected by the WTA. I think we all do too. This is not the level of organization we expect from the Final Tournament. To be honest, most of the time I don’t feel safe moving on this court, I don’t feel safe moving around the ball. His bouncing is always unbalanced and just yesterday we trained on this field for the first time.
This is unacceptable to me when there is so much at stake,” Sabalenka said.
Let us remind you that the WTA Final Tournament 2023 starts on Sunday, October 29 and will last until Sunday, November 5. Aryna Sabalenka defeated Greek tennis player Maria Sakkari in her debut match, giving up only one match.
