Mad cheers for Medvedev from the audience at the Paris Master, who was accused of gestures at the end
The match between Medvedev and Dimitrov at the Paris Masters was episodic, with the French strongly disapproving of the Russian tennis player who made a controversial move after his defeat and during his retirement.
Medvedev’s showdown with Dimitrov, in which the Bulgarian was victorious at the Paris Masters, was accompanied by incredible events in which the Russian was the negative protagonist.
First, in the second set, the audience showed their displeasure with Medvedev’s face with an incessant booing that lasted three minutes and did not allow the Russian to serve.
In fact, during those three minutes, despite the referee’s efforts, the crowd didn’t pause while Medvedev repeatedly told them to shut up and said something in French.
As soon as the game ended, Medvedev made a gesture with the middle finger of his hand and at the end he raised it to the audience in the stadium and replied that he was just looking at his … nail.
