Zvonareva and Siegemund suffered their first defeat at the WTA Finals in doubles

Russian Vera Zvonareva and German Laura Siegemund lost to Gabriela Dombrowski and Erin Routliffe from Canada at the 2023 WTA Finals in doubles.
The Mahahual group match ended with a score of 6:4, 6:2 in favor of the Dombrowski/Routliff pair. The tennis players spent 1 hour and 28 minutes on the court.
For the Russian and German, this was the first defeat at the Final Tournament. They will play their next match on Thursday against a couple from the USA – Cori Gauff and Jessica Pegula.
