Another 6:0 in the WTA Final Tournament. Swiatek beat Goff for the 9th time
world number two Iga Swiatek (WTA 2) won her 2nd match at the WTA Finals 2023, held on hard courts in Cancun (Mexico).
Polish team was defeated in the 2nd round of the Chetumal group Coco Goff (USA, WTA 3) In 1 hour 30 minutes.

In the second game, Iga took a break and lost twice, in the 9th game, Goff even served for the set, but Swiatek won 3 games in a row and closed Goff in two games.

In the Chetumal group, Iga and Coco play with Ons Jabeur (Tunisia) and Marketa Vondrousova (Czech Republic). In the 1st round, Swiatek beat the Czech Republic and Goff beat the Tunisian representative.

In the last 3rd round of the foursome, Iga will play against Jabeur and Coco will play against Vondrousova.
