Maria Sakkari says goodbye to the WTA Finals. The leading Greek tennis player was eliminated from the semi-finals of the competition after losses to Sambalenka and Rybakina.
In the last group game she will now face Jessica Pegula (number 5 in the world). The game will not start before 00:00 a.m., will be broadcast by Novasports 6HD and broadcast LIVE on Sportish’s MatchCenter.
Sakkari has played Pegula nine times and won five of them. In 2023 they met three times in the semi-finals in Doha, Washington and Tokyo, with the Greek winning once.
