The match was interrupted twice in the first set due to rain. As a result, Solbolenko won the first match with a score of 6:2.

In the second set, Rybakina regained the break and took the lead 5:3. However, due to rain, the meeting was suspended once again and postponed to Friday evening, October 3.

The match will be completed after the doubles matches of Barbora Krejcikova / Katerina Siniakova – Gabriela Davbrowski / Erin Routliffe, Desiree Krawczyk / Demi Schurs – Nicole Melichar-Martinez / Ellen Perez.
