“He wished us luck in Russian.” The ex-footballer of “Spartak” and “Rostov” met and took a photo with tennis player Djokovic
Former footballer of Spartak, Rostov and Rubin Alexander Zuev was photographed with the first racket of the world, Serbian Novak Djokovic.
The football player’s wife Elina reported about the meeting between Djokovic and Zuev on a social network.
– So we went out for coffee! I’m shocked! Insanely pleasant and friendly Novak! He wished us good luck in Russian, and we wished him a few words in Serbian,” Zuev’s wife wrote, posting a photo of the athletes.
27-year-old Zuev previously played for Spartak, Krylya Sovetov, Rostov, Rubin and Khimki. At the moment, the footballer is defending the colors of the Serbian “IMT” from Belgrade. Zuev also has more than 50 matches for Russian youth teams of different ages. The player has Kazakh citizenship.
Djokovic has won 24 Grand Slam singles titles, the most in tennis history.
