Sachko and Marchenko won their opening qualifying matches for the ATP 250 tournament in Sofia
Ukrainian tennis players Vitaly Sachko (ATR 167) and Ilya Marchenko (ATP 210) made a successful start to the qualifiers for the ATP 250 tournament held on closed hard ground in Sofia (Bulgaria).
Vitaly beat the first selection round in three sets Altuga Çelikbelika (Türkiye, ATP 291). In the 2nd game of the tiebreak, Sachko escaped the reception with match point and then defeated his opponent 6:1 in the 3rd game.
In the qualifying final, Vitaly will play against Nerman Fatic (Bosnia and Herzegovina, ATP 226).
Ilya won the first election round Lorenzo Giustino (Italy, ATP 274) in three sets. He will then meet Terence Atman (France, ATP 137).
