Serbian Novak Djokovic had to console Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov on the court after the final of the ATP tournament in Paris.
Djokovic won the Masters tournament in Paris. In the final, the world number one defeated Dimitrov with a score of 6:4, 6:3. After the match, Dimitrov cried on the court, after which Djokovic hugged Grigor and began to console the strongest Bulgarian tennis player.
— It’s difficult to explain emotions. Only I know what I’ve been through in recent months on and off the court. These are tears of happiness. I don’t want them to be perceived as something negative,” Dimitrov said, as quoted by the ATP.
