Djokovic has set his next big goals
After winning the Paris Masters, Novak Djokovic has set himself the next big goals of his career.
He may have mastered everything in his career and celebrated victory at the Paris Masters on Sunday afternoon, but Novak Djokovic doesn’t stop setting new goals for himself.
Speaking to reporters after winning the title in Paris, Novak Djokovic answered many questions and his answers showed what goals he has in mind.
One of them is breaking Jimmy Connors’ career hits record with 109. Nole currently has 97 and when asked about it, he replied: “I think that anything is possible. Why don’t you try it? Now I have 12 titles less, but I still have a few years of tennis ahead of me.”,
“I try to enjoy these moments more now because they are worth twice as much to me. Now when I reflect on this stage of my life and career, winning such a big tournament is worth twice as much. This may seem routine to some people, but winning Masters and Grand Slams really means a lot to me,” said Djokovic.
When he was then asked about his immediate goals for the end of the year, he was clear: “I think I need one more win to secure first place. That is my main goal. Of course the Davis Cup.”
For the next 3 days I will rest, put the racket aside and spend time with my family. Then I go to Turin, where every game is like the final of a big tournament. I will get there with confidence. I haven’t lost a game since Wimbledon and hope to finish the season accordingly.”
