WTA rankings. Swiatek regains world number one status
Last week the women played the WTA Finals in Cancun and before that the WTA Elite Trophy in Zhuhai.
The main change after the results of the last important tournaments of the season was that Poland’s Iga Swiatek regained the status of the world’s first racket, ahead of Aryna Sabalenka. There was another change in the top 10; Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova swapped places.
Brazilian tennis player Beatriz Haddad Maia, who won the WTA Elite Trophy, came as close as possible to the 10th place. Finalist Zheng Qingwen made it into the top 15.

The top four Ukrainian tennis players retained their places in the top 40. Katerina Beindl approached the end of the first hundred, while Dayana Yastremska, Katarina Zavatskaya and Katerina Volodko also suffered some losses. Daria Snigur and Yulia Starodubtseva improved their positions, the latter once again rewrote her personal success.

Marta Kostyuk and Lyudmila Kichenok retained their places in the doubles rankings. Nadezhda Kichenok, Angelina Kalinina and the Kolb sisters stood up.
