Captain of the Dutch national team: “The lack of superiors will not affect Ukraine’s game”
While speaking about the hospitality of the Lithuanian side, Elise Tamaela, captain of the Dutch women’s tennis team, also shared her expectations from the match against the Ukrainian team in the Billie Jean King Cup play-off round match.
“Everything is great. The organization, the hotel, the care for our team and players. And the arena can only be described in one word: impressive.
We have a very strong opponent in the Ukrainian national team. Yes, maybe they came to Vilnius without strong tennis players (the country’s first and third rackets are missing from the national team – approx.), but I don’t think these losses will greatly affect the game of the Ukrainian team,” Tamaela is concerned.
The match will be played on 11-12 November at SEB Arena in Vilnius, with a capacity of 2,000 spectators.
