The leading Greek tennis player moved into the same group He spoke to Novak Djokovic, Yannick Sinner and Holger Rooney about his opponents, but also about how calm he feels.
“Yanic plays fearless tennis and moves very well on the court. He has significantly improved his movements and the consistency of his shots. He is a very athletic player. He has no muscles, but is not heavy. He can be anywhere on the pitch.” It’s a matter of seconds and his reactions are very good. He has good skills and talent.”
He then emphasized that this year helped him understand even more about his game and his character on the field.
“I have the peace of mind of a veteran and I feel it changing. I felt this big change this year. I started feeling and thinking differently. This morning I really thought about how much I’ve done.” My personality has changed, including the way I think about life and tennis. I don’t know if it’s maturity or you reach a certain age where your perspective somehow changes, but it’s definitely been different for me over the last few months. “
Novak Djokovic spoke about how difficult it is to compete against him on court:
“Novak has a very strong presence when you stand in front of him and you definitely feel that it’s hard to escape that presence. “He has very good body language and his mental state and clarity when he plays, you can really see that.” He is very focused on the task in front of him and the goal that he carries with him. That’s rare in tennis and there aren’t many players you can say that about. He definitely showed the highest level of performance in his game. And I did, I was fascinated and I felt it every time I faced him.
