Excitement in Turin. Alcaraz loses to Zverev at 2023 ATP Finals
world number two Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) lost the opening match of the ATP Final Tournament 2023, held on indoor hard courts in Turin (Italy).
The Spaniard was defeated in the 1st round of the Red Group Alexander Zverev (Germany, ATP 8) Three sets in 2 hours 35 minutes.

This was the 7th meeting of tennis players. Zverev won the 4th head-to-head match.
For Carlos, this was his first match in the ATP Final Tournament.
