Tsitsipas: “I promise to come back stronger next season”
Stefanos Tsitsipas, in his post, referred to the reasons that led him to leave the ATP Finals, the back injury problem, while promising to come back stronger.
Shortly after his decision to withdraw from the ATP Finals, Stefanos Tsitsipas posted on social media explaining the reasons.
In particular, he mentioned the problem he had in his back and promised to come back stronger next year.
Specifically, he mentions in his post: “My season ended very differently than I had hoped. Despite the hard work my team and I have put in to be able to compete today and the rest of the week. I am disappointed that I have to withdraw from the ATP Finals.
There were back problems and countless discussions with my team in the last few days of games and training, but I was determined to go out and give my best on the field, which I did after my medical team gave the go-ahead.
We have worked so hard all year for this tournament. It means so much to me. I am determined to come back stronger next season. A big thank you to everyone for your support this year.
