Rublev beat himself bloody with a racket in a match with Alcaraz

Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev could not contain his emotions during a match with Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz at the ATP Final Tournament.

The meeting of the second round of the Red Group took place on Wednesday in Turin and ended with the victory of Alcaraz with a score of 7:5, 6:2. In the second set, after another mistake, Rublev hit his left leg with his racket several times, causing his knee to bleed.

Rublev had previously lost to compatriot Daniil Medvedev in two networks. In the third round, the Russian will play with Alexander Zverev from Germany.

The 2023 ATP Finals takes place from November 12 to 19. The winner could earn more than $4.8 million. Last year the tournament was won by Serbian Novak Djokovic.
