The first semi-finalists of the 2023 ATP Finals have been announced
After the completion of the second round in the Red Group at the ATP Final Tournament held in Turin (Italy), the first tennis player who guaranteed participation in the semi-finals of the competition ahead of schedule was announced.
He became a “neutral” athlete Daniil Medvedev (ATR3). The tennis player from the terrorist country won both opening matches of the ATP Finals, beating Andrey Rublev (ATP 5) and Alexander Zverev (Germany, ATP 8).
Medvedev has 2 wins in the four. He will play against another member of the Red Group, Carlos Alcaraz (Spain, ATP 2), in the last 3rd round.
So far, Alcaraz, Rublev and Zverev still have chances to make it to the play-offs in the Final Tournament.
