Medvedev defeated Zverev and reached the semifinals of the final ATP tournament

Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev beat German Alexander Zverev in the second round match of the group stage of the final tournament of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
The meeting of the Red Group ended with a score of 7:6 (9:7), 6:4 in favor of the Russian. The tennis players spent 1 hour and 45 minutes on the court.
Thanks to this victory, Medvedev advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament ahead of schedule; in the final round he will meet Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. Also a member of the quartet is another Russian Andrei Rublev, who lost his chances of reaching the playoffs.
The final ATP tournament takes place in Turin from November 12 to 19. The winner will earn more than $4.8 million. Last year, Serbian Novak Djokovic became the champion of the tournament.
