Djokovic beat Hurkacz in three sets at the final ATP tournament, Sinner reached the semi-finals early

Serbian Novak Djokovic defeated Pole Hubert Hurkacz in the match of the third round of the group stage of the final tournament of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in Turin.

The meeting of the Green Group ended with the score 7:6 (7:1), 4:6, 6:1. The tennis players spent 2 hours and 5 minutes on the court.

Thanks to Hurkacz winning a set against the Serb, group leader Italian Jannik Sinner secured his place in the semi-finals of the tournament. Sinner is the first Italian to make it to the playoffs of the final tournament.

In the final match of the group, Dane Holger Rune will play Sinner on Thursday. If he wins, Rune guarantees himself access to the semi-finals, which will mean an early end to the tournament for Djokovic.
