Djokovic takes revenge on Sinner to win ATP Finals for seventh time
The final match of the ATP Final Tournament 2023, held on closed hard surfaces in Turin (Italy) on November 19, took place.
Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner (ATP 4) could not beat world number one Novak Djokovic (Serbia) for the second time in a week.
Last ATP tournament.
Novak Djokovic (Serbia) – Jannik Sinner (Italy) – 6:3, 6:3
This was the 6th meeting of tennis players. The score was 5:1 in Novak’s favor.
While Novak and Yannick faced each other in the second round of the Green Group, the Italian tennis player celebrated the victory in three sets. It’s interesting that Sinner lost to Holger Rune in the third round and released Novak, but he won all three matches.
Djokovic defended his title from last year and now has a record of 7 wins in the final championship. The Serbian player was defeated only twice in the title fight in this tournament.
After Novak won his opening match against Holger Rune at the ATP Finals, it became clear that he would finish the year as number one for the eighth time. This is a record number.
NO FEAR.
NO WEAKNESS.
NO LIMIT.
