Space Djokovic beats Sinner 2-0 and wins the ATP final
Novak Djokovic put in a great performance to draw level with Yannick Sinner, win sets 2-0 and win the ATP Finals.
Yannick Siner had the support of his compatriots who filled the Pala Alpitour, but it wasn’t enough. Novak Djokovic confirmed his immense class, prevailed 2-0 and won the ATP Finals for the seventh time.
Nole served brilliantly throughout the match, earning a point in each set to secure the 98th title of his impressive career.
The match: Novak Djokovic’s first sentence was recorded on the computer. Nole was almost flawless. With a seminar serve, he put the visibly stressed Yannick Siner under pressure.
The No. 1 in the world rankings managed a quick break in the fourth game and then won the first set 6:3 in complete control.
Nole started the second set with a break without allowing Shiner another point, then held his own serve to take a 2-0 lead.
Shiner tried to turn the tables, he had a double break point to level the set, but Djokovic wiped him out with characteristic ease.
The two played full games after that, but Nole held on and finished the match 6-3 with a second break.
