Djokovic earned less for winning the 2023 ATP Finals than last year

World number one Novak Djokovic earned more than $4.4 million for winning the 2023 ATP Finals in Turin.
On Sunday, Djokovic beat Italian Jannik Sinner in the ATP Finals final 6-3, 6-3.
Djokovic could have earned more than $4.8 million, but lost to Sinner in the group stage, losing part of the prize money. Last season, the 36-year-old Serb’s winnings amounted to more than $4.7 million.
The Serbian became the record holder for the number of titles won (7) at the Final Tournament, overtaking the Swiss Roger Federer. In total, Djokovic has 98 victories in ATP tournaments.
