Novak Djokovic announced his goals for next season at the press conference for winning the ATP Finals.

Novak Djokovic is happy about his victory ATP finals. Nole answered journalists’ questions in the press conference he gave immediately after the final and one of them discussed his goals for next season and what his motivation will be.

Nole replied with a smile. “I can win the 4 Grand Slams and the Olympic gold medal” and then said: “I always set myself the highest goals and the greatest ambitions. Nothing will change next year. The motivation is still there. My body obeys me. I have a great team around me. The motivation, especially at the big tournaments, is still there.” Still inspires me to keep going.

People may only see us playing in the big tournaments, but they don’t see the dedication we have to show every day to give our best when it’s needed most. For me, that happens at the Grand Slams, the ATP Finals and the Olympics. The mindset remains the same. I will keep going, I don’t know if I will have such a good season, but I will keep going with a fresh mind and that motivation.”

He was then asked about the Olympics and whether they were his goal: “It is definitely one of the biggest goals next to the Grand Slams. It will be a very tight schedule from the slow to the faster surfaces and vice versa. Clay, grass, then clay again and then hard. That will be the case.” “A very demanding part of the season. We need to talk to my team to see how we can prepare so I can play my best tennis when I want.”
