Olympic champion in figure skating Roman Kostomarov showed a video on his Telegram channel of how he conducts tennis training.
The 46-year-old athlete suffered several amputations after hospitalization in 2023 and was discharged in July.
In footage published on Wednesday, Kostomarov trains on the court, holding a tennis racket in a prosthetic.

– At first – complete disappointment. It’s terribly difficult without hands… Both mentally and physically. But then you can find a way out of this situation if you really want to. “I really want it,” Kostomarov signed the video.
Kostomarov, paired with Tatyana Navka, won gold at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, and also won the World Championships twice and the European Championships three times.
