Brother Torrado removed the cover and took out a camera connected by several wires (this was recorded on video). He later complained to the court, but the court initially rejected the request due to lack of evidence.

Torrado, who had voice recordings and messages from Nalbandian admitting that he set up the camera, objected to this decision. The girl’s lawyer, Martin Olari Ugrotte, said the investigation had been reopened.

Nalbandian retired from professional tennis ten years ago, in October 2013, at the age of 31. He rose to No. 3 in the world rankings and won eleven titles on the ATP Tour.
