Leader in world rankings Novak Djokovic He talked about his plans for next year.

– Is it realistic to think about the “Golden Helmet” at the age of 37?

– Was it realistic to think that I would win three of the four Grand Slams this year? I don’t think five years ago, or even a year or two ago, people thought this was possible. I know myself and I know that if I feel good physically and mentally, then I have the capacity to do this. I don’t want to seem disrespectful to my opponents. I know there are thousands of players fighting for the same cause, but I know who I am and I believe in myself.

– You don’t have enough Olympic gold to complete your trophy list. Will your biggest challenge next season be to get to the top of the podium at Roland Garros?

– It will be a strange feeling for me to play in the Olympic tournament on the Roland Garros courts. It will be the same as what I experienced at Wimbledon in 2012. I think it was the first and last time they played there with multicolored t-shirts instead of white. The Olympic Games are a very special competition. I love the Olympic Village, I love the opening ceremony, I love the feeling of representing my country in the most important organization of the sports world.

This is a difficult tournament for tennis players because we have a very busy schedule. From Roland Garros we return to the grass and then to the dirt. I need to play harder soon, but I’m ready for the challenge. I hope I’ll be healthy enough to do my best in Paris and try to win a gold medal at the Olympics.
