Russian tennis player: “I am ending this season with victory. “Honor to Ukraine”

“Champions in pairs at the W40 tournament in Mexico! I’m closing this season with a win. I am very grateful to my loved ones, my family, and my team for their support. Despite the difficulties, this season was so beautiful, there were so many tears, so many smiles, so many victories, I finished with the best (so far) in singles (247) and doubles (327).
We will continue to work and move forward with renewed strength next season. “Thank God for Ukraine,” the tennis player wrote.
Note that Veronica was born in Moscow, but grew up and spent all her childhood in Zaporozhye. She moved to the United States when she was 11 and considers herself Ukrainian with a Russian passport.
