Coco Goff and Iga Swiatek topped the list of highest-paid athletes in 2023.
The American player earned 22.7 million dollars, 6.7 million of which was prize money and 16 million was sponsorship. Polka has more prize money, but less money from sponsors – $21.9 million (9.9 million and 12 million respectively).
American-Chinese freestyler Eileen Gu completed the top three with $20 million (27 thousand in prize money, 20 million in sponsorship payments). Also in the top 5 were Emma Raducanu with $16.2 million ($238 thousand in prize money, 16 million from sponsors) and Naomi Osaka with $15 million (0 prize money, 15 million in sponsorship payments).
9 out of 15 first places were occupied by tennis players.
