Kalinina received the Heart Award for his match with the Dutch national team
Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina Nominated for the Heart Award in the Billie Jean King Cup Playoffs. Other candidates included Victoria Grunčakova (Slovakia), Katie Boulter (UK) and Fernanda Contreras Gomez (Mexico).

Kalinina made her debut with the Ukrainian national team this year and won two singles matches against the Dutch national team.
Let us note that this award was won by Katerina Bondarenko in the Europe-Africa region in the first group of the Fed Cup in 2016. Elina Svitolina was a candidate for the Heart Award in the 2021 play-offs, but Canada’s Leila Fernandez received more votes.
