Online fight between Kyrgios and Becker: “Talk to your OnlyFans about a lot, not about tennis”

An interview by Nick Kyrgios was the reason his feud with Boris Becker erupted when the two argued online.

A new major feud has broken out on social media between Nick Kyrgios and Boris Becker. It all started with that great interview which the Greek-Australian “Athletic” granted.

There, Kyrgios used, among other things, the name Boris Becker to point out the big changes in tennis.

In detail he explained: “Tennis was so slow back then. I saw Boris Becker and I’m not saying they weren’t good.” in their time, but to say they would be just as good now is absurd.

A long service back then was around 197 to 200 km. People like me, we serve 220 constantly, in the corners. It’s a completely different game.

I’m not saying they wouldn’t find their way. But the serve and the volley, to do it consistently now, you have to serve 220 because if you serve less than 220, brother, Djokovic will eat you alive. It eats you alive. Lleyton Hewitt equals Sampras at the US Open for a year. This was the first prototype of someone who could return good serves.

He made Sampras look bad. And what would Djokovic do to someone like Sampras? He would “cleanse” him. If Hewitt did that, Djokovic would destroy him. He would eat him alive.

Becker’s answer

Boris Becker’s reaction didn’t take long to arrive and came via the account he maintains on social media and called on Kyrgios, among other things, to deal with his OnlyFans account and not with tennis: “Nick has been making a lot of noise about tennis lately. Because he’s talking about a sport he detests. Nick has never won a Grand Slam singles title as a player or coach (he did in doubles), so where does the credibility come from? from;

He tries to compare generations… Laver vs. Federer, Borg vs. Nadal, Sampras vs. Djokovic! I won’t even mention McEnroe, Conners, Lendl, Agassi, Courier, Villander, Kürten, Bruguera, Rafter, Hewitt and many others. Talk about a lot of things besides tennis on your OnlyFans page…”

Kyrgios’ reaction

As usual, Nick Kyrgios immediately picked up the gauntlet and responded to Boris Becker by reminding him that he had beaten Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray.

Also, I mean, I’ve beaten Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray, so I feel like I have a little credibility… But you don’t have to be a nuclear scientist to see that Novak would beat you in his prime? It’s not an attack. They’re just facts.” he said characteristically.
