The best WTA tournaments of 2023 have been announced
WTA announced the winners of the 2023 WTA Tournament Awards.
The winners were chosen by the players, who recognized the excellence of the staff and organization, the dedicated fans and the widespread support for the sport and its athletes.
The winners were divided into three categories reflecting different levels of competition:
- WTA 1000 – Indian Wells
- WTA 500 – Charleston
- WTA 250 – Cologne
Note that this is the 10th time in a row that the BNP Paribas Open has won this award and the 14th overall.
Credit One Charleston Open has been named WTA 500 Tournament of the Year for the second year in a row.
Entering its third year, the Transylvania Open was selected as the WTA 250 tournament of the year for the second consecutive season.
